Through out the 1900's women were gaining some equality as men, but they did not get all the same equalitly that men got. One thing they got 8 hour a day jobs with a little more pay then before, even though this put a strain because they were not able to go for jobs that required extra hours because they could only work 8 hours a day. Then again more women were entering into a college to recieve an education. But then agian they were not getting the full equality to men, such as not being able to have credit to buy a house or car. They had no control over their bodies and the working conditions were not up to the best standards. I feel as though this would be awful to live in having to be looked down on for having boobs and vagina. And the fact that i can have a child and a guy can not. Even though women are seen as weaker and not as smart their are women out their everyday proving the boys wrong and showing that they are just as good as the boys. I'm so glad that women were able to start increasing the statistics in the 1900's because they got us to have equality between men and women. Could you imagine a world with out women sports or having to play in a dress? i would die, not going to lie.

About Me
- Nicole Hovdestad
- Hi! I'm Nicole, i'm from Sioux Falls, SD. During the year i stay pretty busy with sports, and i am a fan of almost every sport. But i would have to say that extreme sports are my favortie. Hanging out with my friends is a must for me and we always know how to have a good time. This summer was one of the hardest times i've ever been though but i'm hoping college is all that it's made out to be!
